CLIENT TESTIMONIAL & SLIDE SHOW .

Our clients loved their home’s classic colonial style, but knew they would need to make changes to the master bedroom bath. Typical of the 70’s, a virtually useless “hallway” off the master bedroom led to the bath and a small closet; resulting in a tiny, impractical bathroom. The owners were looking for a more attractive and larger bath, plus a functional walk-in closet. Adding an addition to the property was not an option, but we were able to increase space in both the bath and the closet by eliminating the hallway, thus increasing the size of both the bath and closet.

Our design features a very spacious glass enclosed walk-in shower, accomplished by “borrowing” additional space from an oversized hall closet. Light reflecting off the semi-frameless enclosure enhances an open, spacious feeling and shows off the impressive Pietra Aurinia tile. Truly the focal point of the room, the shower features a built-in tile seat, dual Kohler(?) shower heads and valves, and two toiletry alcoves. The half wall facing the bedroom doorway is a truly unique feature; it not only provides privacy, but also allowed us to place the light and fan switches just inside the door.

Twin cherry vanities with granite countertops are classic and warming. The custom made mirrors and frames above the vanities are framed in matching cherry – complimenting and creating a true look of splendor..

With fixtures relocated, there’s plenty of room for two in this new master bath. And now that the bath and walk-in closet doors are conveniently located directly off the master bedroom, our clients are getting exactly what they wanted – A master “suite” created using the existing space they already had!
